Edwards On The Pole For Bud Shootout
Missouri’s Carl Edwards will start 1st in the Budweiser Shootout race at Daytona International Speedway Saturday night, following last night’s draw for position. Kevin Harvick, who was sick all day and missed practice, chose the 2nd starting spot, followed by Brian Vickers, Ryan Newman and Greg Biffle.
Twenty-Four drivers will start the race. St. Louisan Kenny Schrader will start 14th in Scott Speed’s #82 after posting the seecond quickest lap in yesterday;s practice at 191.371. Kasey Kahne was fastest at 191.673. The race will be shown live on FOX Saturday night at 7pm.
