UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA (July 9, 2010) — With wild enthusiasm and dedication, Team Aruba raced their way beyond the first round of eliminations at last weekend’s American Drag Racing League (ADRL) Hardee’s Independence Drags IV at Kansas’s Heartland Park Topeka (HPT) track. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain, the ADRL Independence Drags was postponed before Team Aruba’s driver, Trevor Eman, could bring the Aruba.com Extreme Pro Stock (XPS) car to a second round eliminations victory. “We had some great runs in Topeka,” comments Eman, crediting his team for their hard work. “I’m lucky to have such a great support group. Everything we do is a team effort.”

Team Aruba is now preparing for the July 9^th Mountain Motor Pro Stock Association (MMPSA) NAPA Thunder Nationals, another rescheduled race for the team. The event, originally scheduled for May 7, was also postponed due to inclement weather. “We’re excited to finally compete in the NAPA Thunder Nationals,” comments Trevor, “and we hear there is going to be some tough competitors there. It should be an exciting racing weekend.” Besides the excitement on the track, Team Aruba is also looking forward to meeting drag racing fans in the pits. “We hope to see a lot of fans in the pits over the weekend!” says Eman. “Come by to learn more about Aruba, our team, and get a close up look at our extreme pro stock car.”

The ADRL Independence Drags will resume at the upcoming ADRL/Hardee’s Gateway Drags III, held at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois on August 6^th.
