Silver Crown cars will compete in the Southern Illinoisan 100 at the
DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. This year’s USAC race will once
again be held under the lights. Sunday will consist of USAC practice
at 5:00 p.m., USAC Silver Crown qualifying at 6:30 p.m., and the
Southern Illinoisan 100 USAC Silver Crown feature is set to begin at
8:00 p.m. Pit gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and the
grandstands will open at 4:00 p.m.

For Keselowski Wreck
(Daytona Beach, FL) -- Carl Edwards will not be suspended for
sending Brad Keselowski airborne during this weekend's Kolbalt
Tools 500 in Atlanta. However, the driver of the number-99 Ford
will be under probation for the next three Sprint Cup races.
With just four laps to go in Atlanta, Edwards drove up behind
Keselowski and turned him. That caused Keselowski's car to go
airborne and land on its roof. Several fans were injured by
flying debris from the car, but Keselowski was okay. Edwards
was down more than 100 laps at the time, after a crash with
Keselowski earlier in the race. Edwards was black flagged after
the later crash. The next race on the circuit will be March
21st in Bristol.

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The road to
the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series $10,000 Championship begins
this Saturday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS with a
40-lap $2,000-to-win Promoters Racing Organization event. The
PRO Series
is
the Mississippi portion of the four-state NeSmith Super Dirt Car
Series.
The PRO Series Columbus Speedway race on Saturday night is the
first of 11 races in which drivers can compete for not only the
PRO Series point fund, but if they are NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt
Late Model Series members, they can also compete for the NeSmith
Super Dirt Car Series point fund that pays $10,000 to the

Kurt Busch Wins Kobalt Tools 500
HAMPTON, Ga. (March 7,
2010) — Kurt Busch won two races Sunday: the Kobalt Tools 500
and the Carl Edwards 25.
In a race that went 16 laps—nearly 25 miles—past its scheduled
distance, after Edwards retaliated against Brad Keselowski for
an incident earlier in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at
Atlanta Motor Speedway, Busch took advantage of a strong restart
to grab the lead during the second attempt at a
green-white-checkered-flag restart and crossed the finish line
.482 seconds ahead of runner-up Matt Kenseth. [Complete

Midwest Dirt
Late Model Series For 2010 Season
CONCORD, NC March 8, 2010 The
Midwest Dirt Late Model Series (MDLMS) will carry the
sanctioning of DIRTcar Racing in 2010, officials from the two
organizations have announced.
Renamed the Midwest DIRTcar Late Model Series, the Wichita,
Kans.-based tour will focus on full-fender competition at tracks
in the Kansas/Oklahoma area. It will feature several
co-sanctioned events with the Colorado Late Model Association
DIRTcar Series, which will also run under the DIRTcar banner for
